We would love to invite schools to participate in 'Share Lunch Fight Hunger' campaign which will take place on Wednesday 19th May 2010 in order to raise awareness and funds for OzHarvest, a food rescue charity.

Help us support at risk communities and our environment, by organising a gold coin donation at your school. Every dollar donated will deliver a meal to feed someone in need.

This is an exciting and involving way of raising awareness among your students regarding food waste, the environment and people in need.

Subject to availability, an OzHarvest spokesperson could come along to explain the need and purpose that OzHarvest fills in the community, to your pupils at a time that would be convenient for your school.

At the end of the campaign the school will receive a certificate acknowledging their contribution.

The official date for the event is Wednesday 19th May. However, you can hold a Share Lunch Fight Hunger day anytime during May or June.

Good food need not go to waste.
